At the feet of the master
Yogacharya Donald "Don Baba" Abrams is an experienced and esteemed teacher of Kriya Yoga, who trained for twenty years, with the realized Kriya Yoga Master Paramahamsa Hariharananda.
He received the First Kriya initiation from Baba Hariharananda in May 1981.
In 1987, Baba Hariharananda authorized Don Baba to guide First Kriya meditations, and organize Kriya Yoga programs in New York City.
In 1996, Baba Hariharananda empowered Don Baba as an independent Yogacharya to initiate sincere seekers, and teach the Kriya Yoga techniques.
After Baba Hariharananda's Mahasamadhi
After the Mahasamadhi of Baba Hariharananda in 2002, Don Baba continued his training by traveling to India for another ten years, to study with Kriya Yoga Master Rajarshi Raghabananda, a senior disciple of Paramahamsa Hariharananda.
Rajarshi Raghabananda empowered Don Baba to initiate sincere Kriya Yogis, into all the higher Kriya Yoga techniques and to empower new Yogacharya.
Yogacharya Don Baba continues to support Rajarshi' s empowered Yogacharyas, and the Kriya Yoga Banabira Ashram founded by Rajarshi Raghabananda.
Kriya Yoga Banabira Ashram in Odisha, India, maintains ongoing Kriya Yoga meditations and initiation programs, led by the ashram president, Yogacharya Yogananda Sahu and Acharyas of the ashram.
Sharing with all, accumulated knowledge, wisdom and love.
For over 39 years, Yogacharya Don Baba has been guiding Kriya Yoga meditations in the USA and at international Kriya Yoga programs.
Don Baba maintains a close relationship with many Kriya Yoga practitioners', "kriyabans", and is dedicated to helping facilitate their depth of inner experience , thru the sincere practice of the Kriya Yoga techniques.

This website is based on Don Baba's 44 years of daily Kriya Yoga meditation practice, and interactions with fellow "kriyabans", who have sought his expertise and guidance.
As well as from traveling around the world meditating with Kriya Yogacharyas' (teachers) and Kriyabans (kriya yogis).

Rare Opportunity
In 1983, Baba Hariharananda empowered Swami Yogeswarananda Giri, as the Sadhusabhapati of Karar Ashram, Puri, Odisha, India, founded by Swami Sriyukteswar Giri.
Brahmachari Robinarayn, (Baba Hariharananda) stayed for years in silent seclusion at Karar Ashram and helped oversee the construction of Swami Sriyukteswar' s Samadhi Mandir.
In February of 2025, we had the rare opportunity to receive Yogeswaranandji's darshan and meditation guidance, in the Karar ashram meditation hall.
