2 Evenings, Thursday & Friday, and 2 Full days, Saturday & Sunday · OMM Center Guadalajara
"An ounce of practice is worth more than a ton of theories."
— Paramahamsa Hariharananda
The Guadalajara Mahasamadhi program is the closing chapter of the 2026 Mexico tour — and in many ways, its most sacred offering.
Mahasamadhi is the term used in the yogic tradition to describe the conscious departure of a realized master from the physical body.
For Kriya practitioners in the Hariharananda lineage, this annual commemoration is not a moment of mourning, but one of deep celebration, and renewed commitment to the path.
Over four days, Don Baba will conduct Kriya Yoga initiations and lead the group through Satsang sessions, guided Kriya Yoga instruction and practice, teachings drawn from Hariharananda's life and legacy, and shared remembrance of the Master whose love set all of this in motion.
* Please note, Friday, December 04, Saturday, December 05 and Sunday, December 06 are for Kriya initiates only.
* It is mandatory for those receiving Kriya initiation to attend both Saturday and Sunday.
The Program
Daily Practice
During the four days of the program, Don Baba leads the group in guided Kriya Yoga meditation and Satsang — the heart of the program and the living transmission of the lineage.
Lineage Teachings
Deep dives into the life, teachings, and realized state of Paramahamsa Hariharananda — drawing on Don Baba's decades of direct personal contact with the Master.
Community & Remembrance
Shared stories, practices, and the rare experience of practicing together with other serious seekers from across Mexico and beyond — in community, in devotion.
Logistics
Paramahamsa Hariharananda taught that the realized master never truly leaves — that his presence is available to sincere practitioners in the silence of deep meditation. This program is an opportunity to prove that teaching from the inside.

Yogacharya · Authorized by Paramahamsa Hariharananda
Yogacharya Donald "Don Baba" Abrams is a direct disciple of Paramahamsa Hariharananda (1907–2002) and is authorized
as a Yogacharya by him, in 1996, to conduct First and Second Kriya initiations, in his name, with his love and blessings.
Rajarshi Raghabananda, empowered Don Baba to transmit all six groups of Kriya techniques, as well as authorized
Don Baba to empower new Kriya meditation guides and Yogacharya's within the Hariharananda lineage.
He brings 45 years of personal practice and 39 years of teaching into every gathering.
His teaching philosophy honors both the depth of the tradition and the realities of modern life.
No monastic path is required.
Kriya Yoga, as Don Baba teaches it, is a practice for householders — for anyone willing to go inside with love.
Don Baba teaches with a rare combination of rigor and warmth — insisting on the practical, verifiable inner experience that Hariharananda himself demanded, while meeting each student exactly where they are. His Satsang's are known for their depth, humor, and the unmistakable presence that comes through a life genuinely lived in practice.
The Lineage
Paramahamsa Hariharananda (1907–2002) was a fully realized Kriya Yoga master and direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda's lineage through Swami Sri Yukteswar. Known for his extraordinary depth of realization, his warmth, and his insistence on practical, verifiable inner experience over doctrine, Hariharananda spent the latter decades of his life traveling the world to bring Kriya Yoga to sincere seekers everywhere — including to the young Donald Abrams, whom he would eventually authorize to carry the lineage forward.
Join Yogacharya Don Baba and a gathering of sincere seekers to honor a realized master and deepen your own practice.
